I enjoy challenges, from cooking to making art to cleaning my desktop. The results are so satisfying when you complete something that tries your patience. The white of the owl's feathers, while keeping them white, but not so white that they have zero depth (think blank page) was particularly challenging. This painting taught me patience (again!) to put the brush down and walk away to come back to look at it later with fresh eyes. This is how making art can make you a better person if you are so inclined to think about the process. If you can't figure out a problem, change your perspective.
The original is sold and prints are not available, but if you would like me to create a snowy owl painting just for you, I can do that!
